To open the Mac you need a P5/PL4 Pentalobe screwdriver.

The ROM is a WSON chip (64Mbit).

To read or write the ROM use Medusa with A4163 or A4160 (red) EasyFlash adapter (arrow points to the back of the Mac, i.e. to the hinge). The A4163 is easier to use because is goes to the left of the connector and hence doesn't require you to remove the trackpad flex right next to the SPI connector.
